Peptide Blends

Peptide blends combine two or more research peptides in one lyophilised vial. Our published range currently holds one blend, BPC-157 and TB-500 with 10 mg of each. A blend gives every sample the same ratio from the vial, with one reconstitution step instead of two.

When a peptide blend makes sense in a research protocol

A blend saves work when a research design always uses both compounds together and in the same ratio. Weighing two powders and running two reconstitution steps are two sources of error that a pre-mixed vial removes. The trade-off is flexibility: the ratio is fixed at lyophilisation and cannot be changed later. Laboratories that vary the ratio or run the compounds separately in control groups are better served by the single vials of BPC-157 and TB-500. Our guide when peptide blends make sense in a research protocol goes through the decision step by step.

Documentation of a blend

For a blend the certificate of analysis has to show two things: the identity of both peptides by mass spectrometry and the purity of the mixture by HPLC. Documented batches of the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend are reported this way; send us the lot number on your vial and we send the report. Storage and reconstitution are the same as for single compounds: sealed at -20 °C, reconstituted with bacteriostatic water in the laboratory.

All compounds on this page are research chemicals for laboratory use only. They are not medicines, supplements, foods or cosmetics and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
